The Lord's Revival in Me by Marie Whitton

Passions
Butterfly I am passionate about living for the Lord.  So, I look at all the things I like to do and do them in a way that will    glorify  God.  I love fitness.. running to be exact, so,  I run to bring honor to the Lord . I have ran three marathons as fundraisers. Two were for World Vision and one for Orange County Gospel Fellowship. Running has changed my life.  During that change God has revealed to me how He is the coach of my life.  You see.. running 26.2 miles is something that I could not have done on my own power.  After three , four, five hours of running you know it’s God.  God got me to the finish line each time. So, I glorify Him, who has the power to complete everything He says he is going to complete.  I am a work in progress and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me next.  ~ Marie

ButterflyI want to see a continued transformation in the Body of Christ, a jubilant expression during times of worship in song, I always start with me. Hearts to press into the Lord, to be lost in His Presence, no shame, no hindrance, deliverance, shackles off....freedom to love the Lover of our soul!  I anticipate a time when worshipers begin to sing....and the Spirit of God will begin to deliver many from the things that hold them to their past, where healing will come and people will leave changed and set free, no longer thinking of who they were but remembering that God has made them new and continues to infuse us with strength, joy that only Christ can deliver.  I wait to see a celebration in the courts of God so that the believer and unbeliever among us will see the place we stand is Holy Ground and like an old song goes..and the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His Glory and Grace!  Let the people sing! Worship your God! ~Liz

ButterflyI  am very passionate about helping others in needs! Currently, I can't help others who are in financial need; but I am talking about the kind of help that requires me just listening, having a shoulder to cry on, or just giving some good old Godly advice! During the past two years, God has place different women who are having the same personal   issues as me! At first, I didn't understand why God was placing me in this position, but then I realized that I have a lot of compassion for these women; I can also identify and sympathize with what they were feeling and going through!  2 Corinthians 1:3-5 (NIV), says, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God. For just as the suffering of Christ flow over into our lives, so also through Christ our comfort overflows."  At times we may have difficulty feeling Christ's comfort, but I can encourage these women by my physical presence, the sharing of our pain and offering comfort in a spiritual,   tangible and practical way.  I use it to glorify God by letting them know that God understands our pain and we can use this pain to draw nearer to Him and God indeed, with obedience to His word, will lift us up. I glorify God by offering encouraging scriptures letting them know that God loves and cares for us. As a vessel for the Lord, I  encourage them to give their hurt and those who have hurt them over to God; He is the one who dispenses justice and revenge, not us (Hebrews 12:6).   I encourage them to keep their focus on God for He is our hope and reason, and He will carry us through.  ~Deb
